Based on the Myriad font, the graphic potential of text in a non-linguistic context is explored through the disassembly and reorganization of the letter structure. The pattern of each playing card is composed of the English letters of Myriad, which are repeated, rotated, mirrored and woven to form a geometric totem that is both decorative and retains traces of the letter shape. The numbers and patterns on the cards maintain a unified style, making the entire set of cards a visual experiment on the re-cognition of the font structure. The graphics on the back create a strong sense of order in the form of densely overlapping fonts, enhancing the overall modernity and artistry of the deck.
