Inspired by the traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage of "rubbing", cracks on the streets of New York are hand-rubbed with tinfoil. The tinfoil is soft and easy to wrinkle, which can truly restore the texture of the ground and echo the fragility of the cracks. These cracks are not only a symbol of the broken city, but also carry forgotten stories and memories. Each page is paired with a poetic sentence in Chinese and English. The text is printed on a transparent PVC material, revealing the texture of the tinfoil below, so that the text and the cracks have a superimposed visual effect, enhancing the poetry and immersion, and forming an emotional art book.
受中国传统非遗“拓印”技艺启发，用锡纸手工拓印纽约街头的裂缝。锡纸柔软易皱，能真实还原地面的纹理，呼应裂缝的脆弱感。这些裂缝既是城市破碎的象征，也承载着被遗忘的故事与记忆。每页搭配一句中英双语的诗意文字，文字印在透明 PVC 材料上，透出下方锡纸的肌理，让文字与裂缝产生叠合的视觉效果，增强诗意与沉浸感，构成一本富有情感的艺术书。
